9/9/09 – Everybody loves cupcakes

Wednesday, September 9, 2009 – We are fun lovin’ folks out at NIGHT LIGHTS.  This is best exemplified in our new “Cupcake” tradition. During each performance event at NIGHT LIGHTS, Anna and a sidekick walk through the crowd passing out cupcakes…yes, cupcakes! Who doesn’t like cupcakes? Not us!

 The really new tradition began on the opening evening of NIGHT LIGHTS when we wanted to honor The Heron’s good friend Kristine “Skigirl” for her birthday. Anna had the idea of bringing cupcakes to celebrate. So she ventured to an exotic grocery store, called Wegman’s and a custom was born. The cupcakes were a big hit, thus we now honor everyone with those yummy little desserts during performance nights. Smiles are abound when the cupcakes are being distributed to the crowd…isn’t that what life is all about?
