9/5/09 – Friday night visitors

Wing Fest - Night Lights 010Saturday, September 5, 2009 – The first night of the Labor Day weekend saw an incredible full moon, or at least it looked full to us and some peeps from all over. We had Jamestown, NY, Mayville, NY, Bemus Point, NY, East Aurora, NY, Cleveland, OH and Rochester, NY in the house on Friday night.Wing Fest - Night Lights 011

The Fern Gully Trail had music playing from Sitar Jamz, Enya, and Dead Can Dance.  Music to play with your head. It was also a special night because my sister Lisa came out. She was proud of her little brother and what she saw in NIGHT LIGHTS. Love that gal!

Warren and Bonnie from The Art Loft Gallery in Mayville stopped out. Although their season is ending in two weeks, the Art Loft looks like a tremendous place, with works from over 100 local and national artists. Chautauqua County is chock full of creative places  – could spend a few days visiting just the shops and galleries.

Wing Fest - Night Lights 016An adventure-seeking couple from Ohio stopped by NIGHT LIGHTS. After a summer-time diving expedition in Barcelona this summer, they thought they would come back and check out the area. And judging by their itinerary filled with festivals and hiking, it looks like they came to the right place.

We are totally looking forward to Mason Winfield tonight. We want to hear about the freaky things that go on in the woods…other than lighting them up with over 100 lights.

Loved your light show, Doug and Anna! Thanks for the invite back Saturday to hear the ghost stories. He was very entertaining. From Victoria and sister, Michelle (on my right), in Bemus. Hope to get out again while you're still operating this autumn. Carry on:)
