IMG_0833DRUM CIRCLE SCHEDULED FOR NIGHT LIGHTS AT THE HERON

First-timers welcomed, drums will be provided

Sherman, NY –  NIGHT LIGHTS at The Heron will feature a night of drumming on Sunday, September 6, 2009. A group of drummers from the Blue Heron Rhythm Experiment will be onhand to lead a drum circle, in which first-time drummers, as well as experienced percussionists are more that welcome to participate. There will be drums available to play for those who do not own a drum.

NIGHTS LIGHTS is traditionally open on Friday and Saturday nights, but will be open on Sunday night over Labor Day weekend.

The drum circle will be lead by Bill Anderson.

  • Yeah...it was a combination of it being Labor Day weekend (since Monday is off) and simply, the drummers wanted to play Sunday night rather than Friday. We'll be drumming away! Hope to see some peeps this weekend.
  • It's labor day weekend most people have Monday off. :-)

    Just wondered why a Sunday Night? It's hard to have to go to work on Monday Morn. Seems like it would be a lot easer for people to make it on a Friday or Sat. night. I'll still try to come but may not be able to. I know it's the holiday weekend but just thought the other days would be a lil better. I will still definitely try to make it.
