8/15/09 – Friday fun and visitors

Saturday, August 15, 2009 – Crank up the 10,000 Maniacs because we’re ready for the arrival of John & Mary tonight! They will start playing at the Café in the Woods ‘round 9:30 p.m. So come on down!

Last night was a fun night at NIGHT LIGHTS. This week the Heron is hosting a group from the  Grey School of Wizardry, or as we so affectionately call them “The Wizards.” They are a great group of people who help reinstalled the light tunnel for us…something that was slated for another trail that got washed out.  The group was walking around NIGHT LIGHTS last night in full wizard costume.  We love ‘em and cant’ wait to see them again next year.

We also had some friends stop by…Mindi and company, who will also be here tonight. Also Justin and Laura from the Parkside neighborhood in Buffalo, and Laura’s parents stopped by for a visit. They were staying over in Bemus Point and decided to take a stroll through the woods.
