Night Lights Coming to The Heron Property

“NIGHT LIGHTS” at The Heron” – a new eco-tourism attraction -coming Friday, July 31, 2009 at Great Blue Heron Music Festival Site in Sherman, NY

Hello! My name is Doug Sitler and some friends and I are building a pretty neat outdoor eco-tourism attraction in Sherman, NY called “NIGHT LIGHTS at the Heron.”

When completed in a few weeks, it’s going to be North America’s only rural outdoor lightshow walking attraction. We’ve identified a one mile trail through the forest of the Heron property that people will walk, un-guided  through a series of colorful and creative lighting environments featuring the trees– some areas will include sound to add to the atmosphere. The walk is meant to be a slow stroll through the landscape.

NIGHT LIGHTS at the Heron will be open on Friday and Saturday nights from Friday, July 31, 2009 to Saturday, October 5, 2009 at the Great Blue Heron Music Festival. We are currently busy preparing the NIGHT LIGHTS for it’s big debut, so we’ll stay in touch, OK?
