7/23/09 – “It’s deja vu all over again!”

Thursday, 7/23/09 – Zoinks! This rain is really putting a damper on our efforts to build NIGHT LIGHTS at The Heron! We’re so excited to plug stuff in, make beautiful settings, and get ready for next weekend’s grand opening…we’re just chomping at the bit! Tonight looking a little funky too! Bummer! On the positive side, we sent our membership into the Chautauqua County Visitor Bureau yesterday. We are firm believers that NIGHT LIGHTS can be a contributing organization in the county’s economic development through tourism. We hope to enhance the experience for our current visitors, and give new visitors a reason to check out Chautauqua County. In the meantime, here’s a picture that Julie Rockcastle took of the very first “test” of lights at the pond.
