Mason Winfield
Hear stories about the paranormal and folklore in nature, and in our region. Author of several books dealing with the paranormal stories throughout New York State, Winfield also hosts “ghost walks” throughout in the cities of Buffalo, Canandaigua, East Aurora, Lyons, Saratoga Springs and Williamsville. Mason spoke to a large NIGHT LIGHTS crowd in 2009 and we are eager for him to make us scared of the woods at night.

Aqueous
We are fortunate to have Buffalo’s rising stars Aqueous play NIGHT LIGHTS. Our web guy Pete Stergion told us to check these cats out, we did and love ‘em. Their groovy, jam instrumentals will show you why they are playing big gigs this summer throughout the region.

John & Mary,
and photographer Lori Savaree
Hailing from the 30 year history of 10,000 Maniacs, folk-duo John & Mary have returned for a third straight season of NIGHT LIGHTS, always providing us with many magical memories. Doug Sitler is such a fan of Mary Ramsey and John Lombardo, he had their poster on his dorm room wall. They will bless us with tunes from their four albums, and as always, some special surprises. John and Mary, in the woods, surrounded by lights…now that’s cool.

Joining us that evening is the wonderfully talented Jamestown photographer, Lori Savaree, who will be displaying her works on two projectors in the performance area.

Join us for activities geared towards children on this night…including a scavenger hunt, as well as crafts they can bring home with them.
Saturday, September 10th – 8:30 p.m.
Shotgun Jubilee
This band from Erie, PA describes their sound as a “jam happy blend of Rocky Mountain soul and Appalachian funk.” Judging by that description alone, this was a band worth getting over to NIGHT LIGHTS. They have shows all over the Tri-State region this summer, so why not seem them with us.

Saturday, September 17th – 8:15 p.m.
Open Date
Saving this date for any previous rainouts. We love mother nature and all that she gives us…but sometimes she gives us a little too much rain and we have to reschedule the performances.
Saturday, September 24th – 8:00 p.m.
Queen City Sight & Sound
Last season, this artistic collective from Buffalo came to NIGHT LIGHTS and took it over with a three-ring circus of artistic output. Bands, fire twirlers, photography projections. Who knows what they are going to bring this year, but we can’t wait.

NIGHT LIGHTS FALL MUSIC FESTIVAL
Come for the weekend or attend for the night, come see performances by Lazlo Hollyfeld and others.

The American People
Roots rock band from Northern, PA. Fans of Big Leg Emma will certainly remember Dan and John, from the band’s early days. They were suppose to play NIGHT LIGHTS in 2009, but it got rained out, so we’re glad they are back.
